What led you to a career in the stone industry?
My passion has always been rooted in art and architecture. I grew up with a developer for a father and an artist for a mother, spending weekends in museums and exploring New York City, discussing the architectural details that shape its skyline.
I began my career in the Education Department at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, focusing on antiquities and the architecture of ancient civilizations. This foundation in design and history naturally led me into the construction industry, starting in the public sector and eventually transitioning to high-end residential work with The Related Companies. There, I had the privilege of collaborating with some of the most renowned architects and designers on award-winning projects—and it was during this time that I became a client of ABC.
When I began exploring a new career direction, I was presented with a unique opportunity that allowed me to bring together my lifelong passions and professional experience. Entering the stone industry felt like a natural progression—where my appreciation for art, architecture, design, and construction could converge in a truly meaningful way.

If you were a stone, what would you be and why?
If I were a stone, I would be limestone, a material quietly woven into the very fabric of human history. From the awe-inspiring pyramids of ancient Egypt to the elegant facades of modern marvels, limestone has stood the test of time as a symbol of strength, versatility, and enduring beauty. It’s the stone that helped shape the Great Pyramid of Giza, supported the grandeur of the Roman Colosseum, and formed the foundation of iconic cathedrals like Chartres and Lincoln. Whether carved into the rose-colored cliffs of Petra or cladding the towering Empire State Building, limestone has been a constant companion in civilization’s greatest architectural achievements. I would be limestone because, like it, I strive to be strong yet adaptable, timeless yet grounded—a quiet cornerstone in the structures that last.
