Artist Statement
My work is a form of satire with a healthy blend of playfulness that often hints to stronger, more philosophical connotations. As if to avoid being serious, I mask danger and threat with ridiculousness. Though the work might imply a personal narrative it most likely doesn’t mean anything at all. In many ways, it is a reminder to myself to not take everything so seriously.
