Record-breaking rooftop pool-topped Brooklyn skyscraper by KPF

A 68-storey Downtown Brooklyn skyscraper by our friends at KPF | Kohn Pedersen Fox will feature on its roof the highest residential infinity pool in the western hemisphere (i.e, that which is the most high off of the ground: 680′ above grade). A number of new renderings have been released, focused on the optical illusory pool, depicting it as one among a slew of rooftop amenities upon which that office collaborated with our friends at Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects: these include a wooden sunbathing deck, and outdoor film screen equipment. Upon completion the 720′ skyscraper will be Brooklyn’s second tallest building. The building will wrapped in distinctive faceted glass walls.
